International Prayer Summit

IPS SPEAKER

BISHOP Dr. Vaden Grant

Bishop Dr. Vaden Grant was born on the 1st of March 1967 in the twin island country of Trinidad and Tobago.  He is the seventh child of his parents, Bishop Charles Grant and Elder Veronica Gant.  He is a husband, a father and a grandfather. He began his primary education at Crystal Stream Government School and went on to complete his secondary education at Queens Royal College.  He then migrated to the United States of America, to further his education. He attended the Medgar Evers College, and attained a Business Administration degree. He graduated from the College of New Rochelle with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and Political Science, and after realizing that the call of God was on his life, he attended the International Theological Seminary where he gained a Master’s degree in the Psychology of Christian Counseling and successfully matriculated for his Doctorate in Theology.

Dr Grant answered the call to ministry while serving in the Grass Root Ministries of Brooklyn New York.  He went on to become the assistant pastor of the Divine Truth Assembly also in Brooklyn, from 1991 to 1993.  When this assignment was completed he, along with his brothers, organized the Praise Gates Assembly in Brooklyn, where he remained as the pastor for several years until the Lord led and used him in March of 1998 to birth the Christian H.E.L.P.S. Sanctuary Inc.

In April 2015, after much prayer, Bishop Grant launched Victory International Fellowship of Covenant Churches and Ministries and currently serves as the Presiding President and Visionary. For Dr. Grant, this is not just another organization, or just another opportunity for some lofty position. This is about facilitating the call of God and fulfilling the divine mandate.

Dr Grant’s ministry as an evangelist and missionary has taken him around the world.  He has ministered in Trinidad, Grenada, Barbados, St Vincent, Petit Martinique and in other Caribbean Islands. He has ministered throughout Europe, including Germany, France and England. In Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Liberia, and Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa and Kenya in East Africa. He has also traveled as far as the Philippines in Asia, to minister God’s Word. The Bible says that your gifts would make room for you and it certainly did for this Servant and Man of God when room was made for him to minister alongside renowned evangelists Rhineheart Bunkie of Germany, Teresa Wiarimu of Kenya and Pastor Ayo of Nigeria.

In 2001, after an invitation to Ghana by the International Missions Director of the World Assemblies of Restoration, Apostle Dr. Victor Hinds, Dr Grant became a member of the International Missions team and now serves as the Assistant International Missions Director to Apostle Hinds. As he accepted this challenge, he saw the need to further develop a missionary agenda to effectively minister to the whole man and has worked to develop the curriculums for further training of Pastors and Church Leaders.  Understanding the need for educational opportunities to help those impoverished communities, he has founded schools and implemented Scholarship Programs in Ghana, with plans to develop similar programs in Liberia. He was an integral part of the Water for Life Program in the Volta Region of Ghana, and he now seeks to develop further programs for farming in Ghana and in the country of Liberia.

Dr Vaden Grant was consecrated Bishop in the Lord’s Church On Sunday August 6, 2006 in Baltimore Maryland. The Prelate, Bishop James D Nelson, and the College of Bishops of the World Assemblies of Restoration were the Celebrants, and he was appointed as the Bishop to the International Lands with responsibility for over 340 Churches, in over twenty countries.

Bishop Dr Vaden Grant continues to take his call seriously as he ventures forth to do greater works for the glory of God.  He lives by the philosophy “If I can help somebody as I pass along, then my living will not be in vain” and seeks to fulfill the divine mandate of ‘Healing and Equipping Lives for Purpose and Service”
